Questions about an official Lake County docket or case record belong with the court that maintains it. We operate a private reference resource and cannot act on a case. The routing here identifies when to use the Combined Court clerk, the Colorado docket search, or Leadville Municipal Court.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull dockets, change or reset court dates, remove or seal cases, issue certified copies, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the clerk of court or the trial court directly.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Route common Lake County requests as follows:

  • An ROA or docket sheet: check the Colorado docket search, then request the official chronology from the Combined Court clerk
  • A hearing date: use the Judicial Branch calendar and call the issuing court for an urgent or conflicting setting
  • Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
  • A specific case: search by party, attorney, or the Colorado year-class-sequence case number
  • A Leadville ordinance case: contact the Municipal Court clerk because city files use a separate custodian

The official state-court records counter is the Clerk of Court, Lake County Combined Court, 505 Harrison Avenue, P.O. Box 55, Leadville, CO 80461. Call 719-293-8100 or the clerk's published line at 719-293-8105. Court and probation offices open to the public Monday through Friday, but the local page does not publish precise daily opening and closing times. Call before traveling. Court-file requests may also be sent to LakeRecordsRequest@judicial.state.co.us.
